An annual event, theGiannini Economic Forum is a two-day discussion and meeting dedicated to the strategies and goals of institutions and businesses. The event is named after Amadeo Pietro Giannini, the brilliant 20th-century banker and founder of Bank of America, a native of Favale di Malvaro in the Fontanabuona Valley, and annually features economic experts, journalists, writers, parliamentarians and auroparliamentarians, as well as representatives of local institutions.
